'Fugitive Layers' is a lens based project made up of digital collages and a HD video that is constructed from found film.

This work was exhibited at Roman Road Gallery, London in 2018 in a three person show with artists Anna Katai and Marianna Maurico. The exhibition was titled ‘Apophenia’ and was curated by Alix Janta-Polczynski.

It was produced with the help of a Cork City Council Artist Bursary Award and from Goldsmiths University London.

This work is a continuation of the artists interest in media archeology and appropriated imagery, in it he recycles fragments of a found and partially decayed 16mm film and uses this source material to construct digital photographic juxtapositions that form a haunting and unusual ‘portraiture of decay’.
